This how to make a handmade card tutorial shows you how to make an everyday occasion card that is perfect to send your friends or family a simple hello. The Utterly Adorable Handmade Card uses Deco Foil products, but you could easily personalize the process with other options from your paper crafting stash.

I was stuck in a rut with them; every time I would cut some, they would be all one color or just cut from patterned paper… Nothing really out of the box or new! So, I gave the Therm O Web Adhesive Pen a try to decorate my die cut!"

    • DECO FOIL™ TRANSFER SHEETS • CHAMPAGNE
    • DECO FOIL™ ADHESIVE PEN .34FLOZ
    • ICRAFT EASY CUT ADHESIVE™ SHEETS • LG
    • 3D WHITE FOAM SQUARES • COMBO PACK
    • ZOTS™ SINGLES • SMALL
    • Scissors
    • Tweezers
    • Watercolor Paper
    • Paper Piercer or Tool n One
    • Die Cutting Machine

    Instructions

    1. Stamp image and color in using watercolors.

    2. Add Easy Cut Adhesive to the back of watercolor paper. Die cut.

    3. Add watercolors to die cut. When dry, add adhesive using pen. Also add adhesive to heart on the stamped image.

    4. Place foil on top of adhesive and either run through die cutting machine or burnish with finger.

    5. Trim out front panel of card (4x5.25) from watercolor stock.

    6. Add watercolors to create a soft, blended background.
