Watercolor Vellum Cards
Make watercolor flowers on clear vellum paper with this card craft project. Your recipient will want to frame these beautiful water flowers.
- With a black pigment stamp pad, stamp your image onto vellum paper, and emboss.
- With a water-based marker, color around the inside of your image, leaving some white space for the next step.
- Wet the Interference-MicaColor Watercolor Palette™.
- Next, place the brush on the line of the image, and in a small circular motion, draw your brush away from the color, and carry the color to the inside of the image. This will prevent a solid line of color from showing and the marker line will blend with the watercolor, giving it a beautiful iridescent shimmer. “Let the watercolor do it’s magic.”
- Mount layers of cardstock using Great Tape™. Note: Great Tape™ works great with Vellum and will not show.
