Beaded Wire Cross
"The cross takes about one half hour to make and is a good way to use up old pearl necklaces. These would make cool Easter gift favors at your Easter table. All you need is some 16 gauge annealed wire, some black 28 gauge wire, a necklace and some wire clippers and needle nose pliers. One tip: if you place double stick tape around the wires where they intersect the tape will hold the wires in place while you make that first wire wrap to hold them together."
Materials List
- old necklace or loose beads
- 16 gauge annealed wire
- 28 gauge black wire
- wire cutters
- needle nose pliers
- optional: double stick tape

This would be a simple craft for the classroom or Sunday school kids to work on. A grown up could help the younger kids with the pliers and wire cutters, or even make up that part ahead of time for them. They would be a great addition to a church bazaar table as well.

This is a very sweet idea. I am thinking they would be very nice at each place setting at an upcoming baby christening. They aren't hard to make and I have plenty of beads to use. It's going to be a very inexpensive gift. Thank you for sharing this very cute project.
