Dollar Store Frame Art

Materials:

Dollar store frames
Fabric, burlap
Scissors
Large dimensional embellishments of your choice or Cool2Cast pre-poured pieces (if you are purchasing uncolored pieces, you will need alcohol ink and Sakura 3D Crystal Lacquer to color your piece)
e6000 Glue

Instructions:

Remove the back from frame. Cut burlap and fabric strip to fit inside frame. Replace back on frame.
Glue embellishment to front of glass. Let dry completely.
Hang or display on tabletop.

This is a wonderful way to make your own works of art without having to be a talented painter or sketch artist. You can use anything that you like, as long as it fits in your frame. Dollar stores where I live tend to have a nice selection of frames and supplies. I think I will make a few Christmas themed pieces for the holidays this year.
