this banner is such a cute idea. I have lots of fabric quarters but I don't even sew. I can use some of my favorite prints and make a great summer print banner. I love the fabrics in the photo. I'd like to try to copy that one too.

Great idea! I have seen this done either by tying the strips with a knot, or just passing the ends through the looped fabric. A cool twist on this idea is to intersperse fishline holding an ornament or pretty large beads, in between the scraps. I have seen little girl's tutus made from chiffon scraps on a ribbon waist band done with the same cool and quick technique ... Thanks for sharing!

What a great idea! This would be a good craft do do with seniors or children. I have all sorts of odds and ends in fabric that could be used for this. You could do themes like Christmas, birthdays and retirement. Color themes for children's rooms would be fun too.
