Steps:

  1. Use the Mighty Crimper to attach the EZ-crimp end to the end of a length of 49 Strand jewelry wire. Begin stringing beads in either the pattern shown in the illustration – or create your own pattern. Once the beaded strand reaches about 12 in., snug the other EZ-crimp end to the wire, leaving just enough room for the beads to move without stiffness. Crimp the EZ-crimp end using the Mighty Crimper. After crimping, trim excess wire using a flush cutter.

  2. Use remaining length of wire and repeat the procedure to attach the EZ-crimp end and add beads. Be creative! Let your patter be fun and interesting. Feel free to experiment - until you attach the other EZ-crimp end, you can always remove the beads and start over. Once the second strand is completed and the EZ-crimp end has been attached, trim excess wire using a flush cutter.

  3. Attach curb chain to the end of each of the beaded 12 in. segments.

  4. Use headpins and the leftover beads to form the tassel ends. Insert the headpin into a bead, or thread a combination of two beads, and use round nose pliers to form a loop with the end of the headpin above the bead (leaving enough room to wrap the loose end around the wire sticking out of the bead just below the loop formed with the round nose pliers). Attach the loop to one of the short pieces of Figaro chain then wrap the tail around until all of the headpin is used or until the wrapping comes in contact with the bead (if necessary, trim excess if necessary). Continue to do this for all 14 of the lariat dangles.

  5. Attach 7 of the finished lariat end dangles to one of the split rings and attach to EZ crimp, then repeat for the other side.
