DIY Tassel Earrings

Instruction

1. Start out by taking some embroidery thread and tying a knot around the end of one of your hoop earrings. I like to add a small dot of superglue around my knot to hold it in place.

2. Wrap your embroidery thread around your hoop earring until you reach the other side. Tie another knot on the other side and superglue to secure. The superglue does a great job of keeping your embroidery thread from slipping into your earring closures.

3. Next, it’s time to make some tassels! I created an easy little video on how to make your own tassels below. For today’s tutorial, I used 10 tassels in total but you can choose to make however many you like.

4. Now that your tassels are all ready to go, it’s time to attach them to your hoop earrings. Tie a small knot to hold them in place and once they are secure, trim the tassels all together so you have a uniform look.
