Dirty by Design Jeans
Tulip® Spray on Effects™ let you refashion your jeans so you’ll be hip and trendy! Just spray on the Motor Grease, New Denim and Bleached effect to ‘dirty up’ your blues with this craft from I Love to Create.
Materials:
- Tulip® Cordless Heat Setting Tool™

Tulip® Spray On Effects™
- Bleached Denim
- Motor Grease
- New Denim

Tulip® Glam-It-Up!™ Iron-On Crystals™
- TR321 Crystal 5 mm
- Plastic tablecloth
- Tweezers
- Jeans
- Craft knife
Instructions:

Prewash jeans to remove sizing. Do not use fabric softener.

Lay tablecloth onto work surface. Lay jeans face up onto work surface.

Cut several horizontal lines across one knee of jeans, using craft knife. Cut lines in other leg, around upper thigh area. Refer to photo.

Spray desired effect onto front of jeans, spraying in small sections at a time. Repeat with other two effects. Refer to photo. Let dry.

Arrange a random pattern of Crystals around cuts, using tweezers.

Prepare heat tool following package instructions. Place tip of tool onto top of a Crystal. Hold for 5 to 6 seconds. Repeat procedure to adhere all Crystals.
- Wait 72 hours to wash. Machine wash warm on gentle cycle. Do not use harsh detergents or bleach. Remove promptly and line dry. To iron, turn garment inside out, being careful not to touch design with iron. Do not dry-clean.

Crazy to stupid! Why do we spend time and money trying to look poor and dirty? If this is fashionable today, then give me the good old days when neat and clean was preferred.

I have never understood why anyone would want to ruin a pair of jeans to get this foolish look. If I had anything that looked that worn and dirty I would throw it away or cut it up and use it as rags for cleaning. :(
