T-Shirt Yarn Knit Rug
Making DIY rugs out of t-shirts is a time-honored crafting tradition. This cheap alternative to an expensive rug has been popular for some time, and it just got easier. Check out this knitting loom tutorial to learn how to use a loom to make a t-shirt rug in half the time than hand knitting a more complicated knit rug pattern. To make this t-shirt rug, you will need about up to 20 tees. If you do not have 20 saved up, you can easily buy them in bulk at the local thrift stop or stock up at garage sales.

This is a great idea! I have never thought about using t-shirt fabric and a loom to make a rug. There's always old t-shirts in my son's clothing and worn out ones in my husband's chest of drawers. This is excellent. I see a project in my future, great for a winter craft. This will make soft yet sturdy rugs.

I love this, but I dont have a straight loom. I guess I have an excuse to go buy one now! This rug looks so thick and comfy. It would be great in front of the kitchen sink. Much nicer than standing on the bare floor while doing the dishes.

The thickness of T-shirt yarn makes it so comfy to use on home decor, so I love that this worked it into a rug.
