Christmas Wreath Hat
"Hello everyone! It’s been quite some time since I’ve made a hat for the little ones, and since my theme for this Christmas season is hats, it’s the kids’ turn now to get a special holiday design. I wanted to try something different as the main feature for this hat, to distinguish it from my Christmas Lights Hat of last year, and Christmas Angel Hat and Christmas Gifts Hat that I’ve done this year. So, I decided to knit a wreath themed hat. I’m making this one in three sizes: for a newborn, an infant, and a toddler. The width of the wreath pattern unit can be sort of restrictive when you try to design for multiple sizes, but luckily each pattern repetition I added landed me on the next size. If you like the design and want to make one for yourself, you can definitely do that. You just knit one more pattern repetition and that’s how you get the adult size. I’ve got one more hat design for kids that I’ll be sharing soon, so stay tuned. I hope you all enjoy making this quick and easy hat and get to gift and/or share it with your precious ones."
