There was a lot of effort put into making a pine cone. Not that I am knocking the project because I just love it. Where I come from, pine cones are a dime a dozen so this would not be the first project I would complete. My sewing skills are limited so that is a put off but I could see me making this for the harvest cornucopia in all crochet. You have to be careful with the real cones as they could be homes to unwanted creatures.

This pine cone created in mixed media is a true work of art from the designer. From all the parts put together, this is a novel project. Just one note, the "stem" on the cone is a little exaggerated.
