These home decor ideas only require three materials - blank coasters or fiberboard for the base, smooth river rock pebbles, and some craft glue. You can find all of these things at your local craft store or Wal-Mart. Because putting together these DIY coasters can be somewhat tedious, try doing it while listening to an audiobook or binge-watching your favorite TV show.

I love ideas like this because they are fun and versatile crafts. You can do this in a sitting and use the coasters the next day. I like the use of river rocks. I can see putting these on the deck or patio and having a neat conversation. You could even create an entire beach theme around the coaster design.

These coasters are really cool and unique. They would be a great gift for Father's Day. I can definitely see my dad using these out by the pool this summer.
