This is a great idea to help teach kids how to sew and to improve visual and dexterity skills, or even as a rehab project with older folks. As a former therapist, this project teaches counting, colors, coordination and art and ends up with at lovely item! Super project and comes with added benefits for the creator too! Thank you for sharing this creative idea!

One of my favorite summer time events are going to garage sales, or to flea markets. I always find several baskets, and though I do like baskets, you can only do so much with them. Until now! I love what you have done with these baskets, and what a wonderful idea. You have just given me one more idea of how to re-cycle something into a wonderful gift to give someone. This is such a great gift idea.
