Marvelous Masquerade Mask
If you are attending a masquerade this New Year's Eve, then you have to take a look this Marvelous Masquerade Mask. Your New Year's Eve outfit will not be complete until you've created your decked-out mask. Follow this tutorial and create the perfect costume party accessory. Choose sequin and feather colors to match the rest of your New Year's Eve outfit. Hiding behind your mask, who knows what prince charming you'll find when the clock strikes twelve.
Materials:
- Aleene's® Jewel-It™ embellishing glue
- Aleene's® Original Tacky Glue®
- Plastic half mask
- Sequin trim
- Jewels
- Assorted feathers
- ¼” Dowel rod
- Loose sequins
- Large binder clip
- Straight pins
Instructions:

Apply Tacky Glue on two sides of the dowel rod. Wind sequin trim around the dowel rod from top to bottom to cover. Leave 1”-2” of dowel unwrapped at top. Hold in place at both ends with straight pins until set. Remove pins. Set aside.

Apply Jewel-It adhesive over the entire front of mask. Starting at the edge of the mask, adhere sequin trim around the edges and keep spiraling around to the eyes area. Fill in the rest of the area with loose sequins and jewels. Pin in place where needed until set. Remove pins.

Adhere the uncovered section of the sequined dowel rod to back of mask with Tacky Glue. Hold in place with a large binder clip until completely dry. Remove binder clip.

Apply Tacky Glue to the ends of feathers and adhere to corner of mask in a cluster.
- Use Jewel-It to fill in the center of the feather cluster with jewels and sequins. Hold in place with pins where needed until set. Remove pins to complete.
