Materials:

Instructions:

  1. Cut all of your paper into 3-inch squares.

  2. Score your paper from corner A to Corner B and fold.

  3. Now fold in corners B and C so that they meet at corner A.

  4. Fold in the inner corners out so that they create wings.

  5. Unfold the both sides and flatten them.

  6. Fold down the points along the dotted lines and fold in the sides so that you have a square once again.

  7. Apply Craft Glue Dots to one of the side flaps and press both of them together.

  8. Repeat these steps until you have 5 petals.

  9. Then you can Glue Dot them all together so that you have a flower!

Great tutorial!

Love these, I made a single flower with 5 petals. Does it take 12 to make a round flower ornament?

so tissue flowers did't really work out for me but this origami pattern seems promising. what am not sure about is what steps am supposed to repeat. Diagrams also worked better with origami folding so i suggest adding some photos with steps to guide other crafters . This is still a great idea for paper flowers.

What size squares??

Hi Sarah, these should be 3 inch squares. I will update the pattern accordingly. Thanks! - Julia from FaveCrafts

Where are the instructions? How big are the squares? Which corners are A, B, C & D?

Hello, For specific, project-related question, we suggest contacting the creator directly via their company profile (in this case it is Glue Dots). We also suggest leaving a comment on our Facebook wall - perhaps other crafters have run into the same problem. Thanks!

THANKS TICITIUS! If ticitus hadn't posted that link, I would have ignored this altogether.

@tlctitus 4438320..... Thank you for posting the link, it will help quiet a lot when making this.

where are the origami instructions?

A photo tutorial will work; these directions will NOT. I, for one, am origami challenged. LOL

They do need more explicit instructions (is corner C opposite corner A on the diagonal?), I can't figure out how you get 5 petals, I can only get 4. And what about the smaller paper in the center of each flower?

looks nice but I need more thorough instructions :)
