    "I stain all the hearts and milk bones and let them dry for 1 day then I assemble the next day. My customers wanted an ornament they could hang on their tree of their pet or past pet and they wanted something different so this is what I came up with and the customers love them! I have gotten requests for cats which then I put a small mouse on top but, 99% are for the dogs."

    • Wooden heart
    • Small milk bone
    • Picture of your best friend
    • Black wire
    • Xmas ribbon
    • Raffia
    • Decoupage
    • Hot glue
    • Light stain
    • Drill

    Instructions

    1. Stain wooden heart and milk bone. Let dry overnight.

    2. Decoupage picture of your best friend on wood heart.

    3. Drill two small holes in the heart. Curl wire. Attach wire hanger by looping it through the holes.

    4. Hot glue milk bone, ribbon, and raffia to the ornament as shown.

    NotesHave had some customers that did a small tree of all their present and past little friends

    I love this ornament so much. I would definitely make one for my dog. I'd have to hang it pretty high on the tree though or she might eat the treat!
