Tassel Gnomes
The Tassel Gnomes from Lily Sugar n' Cream are great ornaments for your Christmas tree. You can use these cute holiday gnomes year after year for festive decoration.
Measurement:
Approx 6 ins [15 cm] high.
Materials:
- Lily® Sugar n’ Cream (70.9 g/2.5 oz; 109 m/120 yds)
- (00001) White 1 ball
- 1 ball makes 8 Gnomes
- Red and Green felt for hats.
- Glue-on googly eyes.
- Glue.
- ¼ inch [0.5 cm] wide ribbon for loops.
Instructions:
Tassel
Wrap yarn around a 5 inch [12.5 cm] piece of cardboard
20 times. Tie securely at one end. Cut across other end. Wrap yarn
6 times around Tassel 1½ ins [4 cm] from tied end. Fasten securely.
Beard
Cut 16 lengths of yarn 2½ ins [6 cm] long. Tie securely in center.
Tie around Tassel 1½ ins [4 cm] from tied end.
Finishing
Cut Hat from felt using template. Glue back seam. Glue Hat to
Tassel. Glue googly eyes to front of Tassel as shown in picture.
Thread ribbon through top of Hat and tie in loop.
