Wooden Spools Christmas Ornaments
"The Materials include: wooden Spool, embroidery thread, gauges 3 and 25 (a heavy gauge & a lighter one) ribbon, beads, buttons, bells, charms, or other fun baubles to add. Taking a few hours to complete, the ornaments are fun to make and can be complete in just one night. Display on the Christmas tree, use as decoration when wrapping your gifts, or without the ribbon, place a bunch in a clear jar for a fabulous Christmas decoration."

- Vintage Wooden thread spool
- Embroidery Thread
- Ribbon
- Beads
- Charms or
- Buttons
Instructions

evenly wrap a layer of thread on the wooden spool

On top of the thread, evenly wrap the heavier gauge embroidery floss until the thread is covered

Repeat step 2 so there are two layers of floss

Embroider on top layer of floss, Flores, zig-zags, plaids, or whatever design you choose

Cut desired length of ribbon

Feed ribbon through center of spool creating a loop at the top and tails at the bottom
NotesThis is a great project to finish using up leftover embroidery floss.
