Decorative Stenciled Art Boot
The Decorative Stenciled Art Boot is a unique and fun way to take something old and make it fresh. Materials:
- 1 The Crafter's Workshop TCW384 Stencil
- 1 The Crafter's Workshop TCW268 Stencil
- 1 The Crafter's Workshop TCW219 Stencil
- 1 The Crafter's Workshop TCW437 Stencil
- 1 The Crafter's Workshop TCW108 Stencil
- 1 The Crafter's Workshop TCW324S Stencil
- 1 The Crafter's Workshop TCW454S Stencil
- 1 Roll of masking tape
- 1 Old rubber boot
- 1 Can each of Krylon® ColorMaster Primer in Pewter Gray, White, Ivory, Banner Red, Gloss Black, Peekaboo Blue, Sun Yellow, and Island Splash
Time to Complete: 2 hours (does not include drying time)
Instructions:
- Clean rubber boot.
- Spray entire outside of boot with 2-3 fine coats of Krylon ColorMaster Primer in gray.
- Spray random patterns of Krylon ColorMaster colors through selected stencils varying positions around boot. Allow 1 minute to dry between layers.
- Use Krylon ColorMaster colors in white and ivory to spray fine coats between stenciled areas. It's OK to cover stenciled area with a fine mist of ivory and white. This helps to set the stencil into the project.
- Repeat steps #3 & #4 until satisfied with overall design.
