Monster Truck Make-Over
In the Designer's Words: "Sometimes Monster Trucks just NEED a make over. Maybe your kids have duplicate toy vehicles, maybe the store-bought designs are "too creepy". Whatever the reason, begin by painting your vehicle (sans windows and tires) with a medium brush and a base coat of Testors enamel paint. Use a fine-tipped brush to add squiggles in two accent colors to make a ridiculously easy camouflage paint job that will dazzle even the toughest critics! The painting can be completed during a nap time, making this an especially achievable project for parents! One tip- don't mention or show your small fry the painted truck until the enamel paint is completely dry. The waiting, as Tom Petty says, is in fact the hardest part."
Old toys can be new again in just a matter of hours when you learn how to upgrade old play trucks with a coat of paint. This smart and saavy craft project idea is mom-approved because it saves a ton of money while still bringing smiles to little faces. The instructions below explain how to paint an old school bus toy to resemble a much more exciting monster truck. If you are strapped for cash but still want to give a birthday gift to your favorite kiddos in your life, the Monster Truck Make-Over will be life-changing.
