Fall Leaf Greeting Card

Celebrate the change of seasons with this handmade paper greeting card project from Arnold Grummer's Paper Making Kits and Supplies that is Mother Earth-friendly. Nothing captures speckled hues of fall like recycled paper!
Supplies:
- Arnold Grummer's Papermill Complete Kit
- Fall color wastepaper to recycle
- Cardstock: brown, cream
- Paper punch: leaves
- Stamps: Fern (by Rubber Stampede), Verse (by Impression Obsession)
- Ink pads: Versamark, brown
- Glue stick
Steps:
- Recycle pieces of tan, green, yellow, and light blue scrap paper for card base. Grass, a piece of a leaf, and flower petals were also added to the pulp for the card shown here.
- Recycle orange, gold, red and green scraps to make paper for the leaves.
- Make paper in the usual way.
- Punch leaves from dry sheets. Use a pen or thin marker to draw the veins on leaves.
- Tear a strip of brown paper, stamp with fern stamp and Versamark ink pad, attach to left side of card.
- Stamp verse on cream cardstock with brown ink. Carefully tear paper around verse, lightly brush edges with brown ink pad for aged effect.
- Layer verse onto torn brown paper. Attach verse and leaves to card.
