Framed Metallic Stitched Heart

"Because geometrics and metallic gold are popular design trends, this stitched paper heart scores high on both counts. It's easy to do too, and looks especially pretty when placed in a square frame. I stitched with fine metallic gold ornament cord on suede paper (also called velvet paper) after first taping on a printed template and piercing holes with a sharp needle to show the path the stitches would take. Instead of tying knots on the back, it's easiest to tape the ends in place."
