I think this is a great idea. I know some of the cereal boxes are colorful enough not to even be covered up with the paper. For example the cereal boxes that are just out on the selves of the "monster" cereals would be perfect as one of these recycled notebooks. This would be a great project to complete with the age appropriate child.

This is a great opportunity to recycle those empty cereal boxes. Just the other day I placed a box in the recycle bin and I took notice of the quality of the box. It was not all that sturdy and it may not have worked for this application. Depending on the purpose, it still may be an alternative to throwing it in the trash if you are not one to recycle.
