Striped Merry Christmas Card
Merry Christmas! Spread the Christmas cheer with a homemade striped Christmas card from American Crafts. Clear stamps, cardstock and embellishments make this card a decorative one.
Materials:
- American Crafts Clear Stamps – Snickerdoodle set
- American Crafts Patterned Paper in Licorice, Pecan Pie and Toffee
- American Crafts AC Cardstock (Crimson)
- American Crafts Premium Ribbon in Mint Truffle and Green Polka Dot
- American Crafts Elements Embellishments – Silver Glitter Brads
- Chestnut Stazon Ink Pad
- Black Cherry Stazon Ink Pad
- Adhesives
- Paper cutter
Steps:
- Cut Licorice (striped) patterned paper to 5” x 10”. Fold in half.
- Cut Crimson AC Cardstock to 4" x 4" and round two top edges.
- Cut Pecan Pie (dotted) patterned paper to 3.75" x 3.75" and round two top edges.
- Stamp two candy canes using red ink and cut out with scissors. Stamp frame in brown ink. Stamp "Merry Christmas" in middle of frame with red ink.
- Add two glitter brads to the each side of the "Merry" title. Cut out Merry Christmas frame.
- Attach Pecan Pie (dotted) pattern paper to Crimson AC Cardstock and center in the middle of Licorice (striped) patterned paper.
- Cut Toffee (snowflake) pattern paper to the height of three snowflakes. Cut 5" in width.
- Tie green ribbon (15") around card on top of Toffee (snowflake) paper.
