Baby Boy Shower Decorations
Welcome a new little baby boy into the world with these cute Baby Boy Shower Decorations. These invitations and decorations make throwing a baby shower easy and inexpensive. If you're having a little girl, simply change the paper so you use more pink and purple hues rather than blues and oranges.
Materials:
- Echo Park All About a Boy Collection
- Letterpress Starter Kit
- Letterpress Ink: Orange
- Letterpress wipes (for clean-up)
- Letterpress printing plates: Petite (it's a boy), Spooked (chevron)
- Letterpress paper: Extra Thick Square White (for mobile base), No.10 Cards
- Punches Dies: Circle, Pennants (for mobile)
- Nesting Dies: Circles (for mobile base)
- 4x4 Die: Feathers (for cards)
Instructions:
-
Design the card.
-
Remove the adhesive backing sheet from plates and place them in their positions, sticky side up.
-
Close the lid and press. Now we have our plates in position and ready for ink.
-
All we need is just a small dot of ink. I did not add more until I had 3 cards done.
-
Ink up the plates. (Oops, I was trying with navy ink first but decided to use orange instead.
-
Close lid and run through your die cut machine.
-
I die cut a bunch of feathers with Echo Park All About a Boy paper and did a little mix & match. Like all other Echo Park paper, the colors in this collection work very well together. I love that they added a woodgrain pattern in the cheerful blues/oranges combo.
-
Adhere the feathers to cards.
-
Circle Punches Die and Pennant Punches Die were used for the mobile.
-
I die cut a circle from Square Extra Thick Paper – White (5.25” x 5.25”) to be the mobile base. Sew the shapes together and thread them to the base.

I love the pattern! I like how well the colors go together. This is actually too much for a baby shower. It can also be used as invitation to any parties and celebrations. It's a bit difficult to make though, but maybe I can think of an easier way to make the patterns without using the presser. I soo love this card! I hope you can show me more designs and patterns.
