DIY Dog Cooling Mat
"As my “babies” are growing up and leaving home for college one by one, I find that my dog, Lila, is becoming the recipient of my mom attention. Lila is a fun-loving dog, always the life of the party. I know she loves us and we love her, but she is not a cuddly dog. I have to find other ways to demonstrate my affection for her, so I made her this easy cooling mat to lay on after our long walks."

What a great idea! We have a larger dog and she is only 3 years old, but loves to lay in a pile of ice when ever we dump out our cooler. This idea for the DIY Dog Cooling Mat will be great for inside use. She can cool off and not get all wet. I would of never of thought of using frozen peas. I do have a question though, wouldn't the peas just flatten out once they thaw? I'm thinking they would so it would be a good idea to fill the bags half way. Also, how long do the cooling bags last? I'm interested in making a cooling mat for our fur baby. Thank you so much for sharing this free DIY idea.
