Having a tote bag is a must-have in every crafter's life. Heck, even if you weren't a crafter you should still have a tote on-hand. My newest obsession is the Heavy-duty Cotton Tote from Canvas ETC.

This heavy-duty cotton tote is made of 100% heavyweight cotton duck canvas. What is duck canvas you ask? It's a strong, heavy fabric available in a variety of weights and qualities, in a plain weave or basket weave fabric. The base fabric of this tote is a special weave #4 cotton duck, which is very durable. It is fabulous water repellent and is incredibly strong; the canvas is so sturdy that the tote stands on its own.

A tote like this is also known as a boat tote or coal bag because coal miners used to use it to remove debris and stones. Imagine how many craft supplies you can store in this tote! It measures 25 inches by 16 inches by 8 inches allowing you to pile in as many tools, supplies, yarn, paint or whatever your craft of choice is.

If you don't like the plain look to the tote you can easily decorate it any way you'd like. Use foils to give it a shiny look, scribble on some fabric paint (tiny hand prints would be adorable), embroider your name, slap on a label or do as you wish.

What's great about this tote is that it can be used for just about anything. Have it hold your skeins of yarn, keep your scraps of fabric tucked in, take it camping, take it to the beach, or you can use it to hold your art supplies or crafting tools. The possibilities are endless for what you can use this tote for!

I would use it for my current project. Usually working with yarn or thread.

I would use it as a yarn bag to carry my projects with me

put my yarn projects in.

I'd probably use this for my books and knitting supplies. Looks so convenient and easily customizable.

I would use the bag to carry things to work or use it everyday to carry things in like a purse.

i would use it to keep my knitting all in one place i love this bag well made

To carry my crafting items of course!

I would use it for my crochet projects.

I would use it at a knitting bag to carry my multitude of projects in to knit group

I would use it to carry my things to work.

knitting bag

I would use it to carry around my current project. I always have a project going.

For yarn, of course!

I would use it to carry my art supplies.

I can always use another project tote, and this bag looks like it could hold quite a large crochet project!

The bag would store yarn with the current project to keep it all together so I can take it anywhere to work on it.

Crocheting a Queen size blanket, it is too large to take anywhere to work on it, this bag would be perfect. I always take my smaller projects where ever I go (doctor's office, car rides, visiting, etc). With this I could bring my larger projects!

A bag that big would hold the afghan I am working on and make it easier to take along. Or any other grafting goodies I want to take to share. Imagine having it full of home-baked cookies!

I'd have a decorating hayday (I'm more dangerous than Lady Gaga with a bedazzler) then I'd stuff it full of my son's arts and crafts supplies. )

I would use the tote bag to carry my craft materials when visiting the grandchildren

I use tote bags like these as purses, and my last one was recently stolen.

I would you use this bag for sunscreen, beach towels and other items for the beach since it's water repellent.

I would use this tote to carry yarn. I can never have too much yarn with me.!

I would use this bag to carry my art supplies

I would use it to carry my older Pomeranian on the bus, with a quilt on the bottom

This has been Tote-Bag summer (KAL/CAL on Yarnspirations.com...) so most obvious use for me is to hold my handmade totebags LOL!

In a word.....EVERYTHING!

I would use the bag to carry my crafts when traveling, also to carry my dog stuff when they go to be boarded.

I would use this bag to go to my Aunt's house to spend the day crocheting with her and listen to her stories when she was young and the projects she has made over the years.

I would use it to carry my current crochet project

I would use this tote to carry my current projects to my knitting group.

I am fixing to fly to Maryland for Christmas. I could sure use this tote on the plane.

I would use it to take my quilting books or small quilting projects with me around the house or to Dr. offices to WAIT.

I would use this tote to keep my latest crochet project in (I love to take my crochet with me everywhere), also I would decorate it with a cool design or something and use it for college to hold my books, notebooks, and everything else I need for class.
