Colorful Button Rings
Button craft ideas can start to seem boring after awhile. Luckily, these Colorful Button Rings Savannah Starr are anything but ordinary. Transform simple buttons into wild rings that you can wear every single day. Make a few and give them to friends!
Materials:
- Buttons (Blumenthal Lansing)
- Adjustable ring findings
- Glitter
- Aleene’s Tacky Glue
- Paper plate
- Paint brush
- Jewelry glue
- Foam board and craft knife
- Wax paper
- Puffy paint
Instructions:

Place largest button onto paper plate. Brush inside recess with Tacky Glue.

Sprinkle glitter over glued area. Shake excess glitter onto plate and return to glitter container.

Layer 3- 4 buttons to create a bright layered effect. Glue together with jewelry glue.

Test puffy paint on wax paper to be sure that all air bubbles are removed.

Squeeze dot of paint on top of button.

Sprinkle paint with glitter.

Cut slit into foam core. Press ring finding into slit. Apply jewelry glue to top of ring finding.

Carefully place layered button on top of ring finding. Let set undisturbed overnight or until glue is dry. Shake off excess glitter.

I love this button ring. This is going to be added to a summer craft to do with my grand daughter. So super cute and very colorful. Never made a ring before so this will be loads of fun.The puffy paint gives it a nice 3d effect but looks like the button was made like that. I am sure there will be many of these rings added to her collection. Anyone do this with their kids or grandkids yet?
