Make Your Own Foam Stamps

With some stencils and some foam, you can create your own custom made stamps.  Follow this Make Your Own Foam Stamps tutorial from Lynda Heines for some great ideas on how to spruce up cards, scrapbook pages, napkins, walls, and so much more!

Materials:

• Stamp Making Foam
• Stencil or Die Cutter
• Heat gun
• Plastic backing
• Paint or ink
   

Instructions:

1. Start out using the real thin sheet and cut some flower shapes with a Spellbinders’ die (or trace with pencil and cut with scissors).
   
   
   
   
   
   
    
2. To create your own molded stamps, heat the foam up with the heat gun until it had a shiny look.
   
   
    
3. Now press the object into the foam for 15-30 seconds. 
   
   
    
4. Add some color with a stamp pad.
