Denim Tab Top Curtains
Explore this upcycling tutorial to learn how to transform old jeans into brand new curtains for any room in your home.
From the Blogger: "Former jeans provide a great source of fabric, perfect for repurposing to create a fabulous new project. They are hard wearing, with many subtle shades of blues, greys and blacks. This patchwork denim curtain was inspired to co-ordinate with a denim rag quilt and bedroom chair. The patchwork emphasises the various subtle tones in colour. The curtains are fully lined. To hang the curtains tabs are made from former waistbands. You will require a sturdy sewing machine which can handle layers of denim plus waistband To add variation you could add the odd denim pocket."

This is a great idea for a teenagers room, a rec room, or even a youth hall. If you dont have any old jeans, you could always pick some up at a second hand thrift shop. Some of the thrift shops even have bins of clothing that is free because they are missing buttons, zippers, etc..
