Scented Spa Day Pins

Take your favorite scent with you and create your own Scented Spa Day Pins from Heather Valentine. Easy sewing crafts have never looked (or smelled) this good. Use scraps from an old sweater and save yourself a trip to the craft or fabric store.


 

Materials:

• Scraps of sweater or material
• Embroidery thread
• Lavender
• Pin
• Button/trims

Instructions:

1. Cut out 2 pieces of your basic shape.  I used a heart and rectangle.
    
2. With straight stitch, machine stitch all around leaving a 1 1/2″ opening to fill.  *Note: I used contrast thread here for fun.
    
3. Fill shape with lavender or other scented product.  Stitch area closed.
    
4. With needle and embroidery thread, I added a simple running stitch all around the outside edge.  Then I added a few fun trims.
    
5. Attach your pin to the back and you are all set.
