Soap Bible

I am a PSR teacher, and my favorite craft is taking a bar of soap (the size that hotels and motels have) put yellow ribbon around the small sides and sandwich the soap in a piece of felt. Write HOLY BIBLE on the front with a fabric marker. And you have a soap Bible to put in a drawer and make it smell nice.

Perhaps I'm just slow but how is the felt attached to the soap? Otherwise it sounds like a very nice and simple use of the soap! What color felt do you prefer? I assume its black! Thanks............
