This year, make a St. Patrick's Day craft that celebrates the day and brings meaning to the occasion. If you're looking for St. Patrick's Day crafts that don't rely on traditional stereotypes, consider working on this deceptively simple project. You'll want to make an entire bouquet once you complete your first design. Prepare yourself for plenty of compliments - this craft is a true showstopper.
Materials:
- 2 long green paper strips or 4 short ones
- Quilling tool
- Green glitter
- Glue gun/clear glue sticks
- Clear tacky glue
Instructions:
- Cut the 2 strips in half to make 4, if starting out with 2.
- Using the quilling tool, create four rounds of equal size, applying just a smidgen of hot glue at the end to secure it the roll and keep it from coming undone. Easiest method is to create the first roll and model the other 3 after it in size.
- Lightly apply hot glue between two of the rolls and then to the other two to combine for the clover shape, leaving a small space in the middle.
- Take a 2inch long strip of paper and glue a "stem" in between two of the paper rolls.
- Dollop some clear tacky glue in the center and sprinkle with green glitter. Let dry.
