More Crafty Ideas For You
One of our favorite craft projects to recommend for those who enjoy creating a Woven Ribbon Recycled Tin Can Pencil Holder is a DIY Ribbon Bookmarks project. This craft idea allows for more creativity with ribbons, similar to the pencil holder project, and is also practical and fun to make. Not only can you use up leftover ribbons from the pencil holder project, but you can also customize bookmarks for yourself or as gifts for fellow book lovers.
Another craft project to consider is a Woven Ribbon Picture Frame. This project builds off the weaving technique used in the pencil holder, but this time on a different surface. You can wrap a plain picture frame with vibrant ribbons to add a pop of color and texture to your favorite photographs. It's a great way to personalize a frame for a special occasion or to match your home decor.
For those looking for a more challenging project, we recommend trying your hand at a Woven Ribbon Coaster set. These coasters not only protect your furniture but also make for a stylish addition to your home decor. Using similar weaving techniques as the pencil holder, you can create a set of coasters in coordinating colors or mix and match for a more eclectic look. Plus, these coasters make great handmade gifts for friends and family.

If you want to give someone a practical gift that is truly unique, this may be the one for you. The cans can be crafted in favorite colors like school colors, themes or seasons and filled with practically anything from candy to faux flowers. I have a million ideas to accompany this project.

I typically refrain from making purchases of items in cans and when I do, I make sure to recycle them when I have emptied them. Needless to say, I have cans for practically everything and every season. This is the first project that I have seen like this. I have covered my cans with paper, contact paper and paint. I love this idea.
