This pattern works up at an angle. Help! What do I do to even the sides out so that it a rectangle?

This is really cute. The way the sides are made gives it a unique look. You could leave the sides unsewn and use it as a sling to carry things as well. I really like the ombre yarn for this. I may make myself a new purse. It will be easy to line.

You write very well, am amazed with your blogging, you will definitely achieve success..!! Keep it up

worst instructions ever! a little more on the cord handle would be nice......

This was my first completed crochet project two years ago?. Didn't read instructions well, but it still came out great.

I have tried this pattern twice, both times it works up at an angle. With all the ch2 on one side and ch1's on the other side its uneven(not a rectangle), what am I doing wrong?

Can anyone tell me how they sowed thru all four layers in the last step? And I am guessing by caseing you mean basting, so you can pull the cord thru?

sorry my whole ? didn't come out--------Can anyone tell where I can find the diagram for the cord--Thanks

o find the diagram for the cord

my friend says she had one of these when she was a little girl and it was her fave bag. I am making her one to bring back good memories! Thanks for posting.

IstaRTED CROCHETING one of these beautiful bags. They are unique, different and more exciting to look at

I like this one better because it looks like a handbag thus it can be worn as one, yet it can also work as a beach bag, lunch bag, etc. The possibilities are endless. I will be making one very soon1

LOVE IT!!! Hope I can make one soon, but I have a busy summer. Anyway, I'm going to try and I know I'll love it.

This is a lovely bag

I am making this with tuti fruti yarn and love it!! it is taking me a long time b/c I only get to work on it part time but I'm about done and can't wait to get to use it! I am also subbing a ribbon or something softer for the band I don't like the idea of rope on my shoulder. I'll post a pic soon I hope ;)
