From the blogger: "If you are looking for an easy craft for Thanksgiving, then you can consider decorating little wooden peg dolls into pilgrims. First the peg dolls are painted in the appropriate colors. Once dry, the figures are embellished using little scraps of felt, ricrac, yarn, and lace that you may have in your stash. A top hat is then added to the male pilgrim for the final touch. The project is so simple that adults and kids alike can make these. These do not take long to make, but the paint has to dry before continuing."

These little wooden peg pilgrims are so sweet and are such a delightful way of teaching a bit of some history and having some fun and cute decor! If you don't have wooden pegs available, I am wondering if you could use corks for the bodies, perhaps rounding out the head portion with some sandpaper to get the oval shape needed. Also a great way to,use up some tiny fabric scraps too! Thanks for sharing!
