Princess Purse for Little Girls
Who doesn't love adorable princess crafts for girls? Make a Princess Purse for Little Girls from Jen Goode this year - it's a fun and easy project that will any girl will love.
Materials:
- Die cut matt board
- Craft paint
- Princess pattern
- Fabric
- Ribbon
- Stickers
- Crop-a-dile
- White eyelets
- Velcro
- Organza bow
- Charm
Instructions:
- I embellished the die cut matt board with pink craft paint, a princess pattern print out that I designed, pink sparkle fabric, fancy white lace ribbon and a custom-made sticker.
- The purse handle is a wide organza ribbon attached to the purse sides using a crop-a-dile and white eyelets.
- The front flap of the purse closes with a small circle of velcro.
- The final touch is an organza bow on the front, two die cut flowers (included with the box die) and a little silver charm that says Thank You hanging from the side.
Note:
- I used paint to cover various areas because I wanted the edges to match the finished piece. Scored and folded edges will be the color of your matt board edges otherwise.

This is a darling little purse pattern and I would have loved it as a kid, and so would my daughter. I am wondering if you could use your own stiff board backing for this and cover it with fabric or paint it as suggested. Look in your stash for beads and embellishment if you want to upcycle and cannot afford specifics. Either way, this is a wonderful project, worthy of becoming a cherished heirloom! Thanks for a great project!
