Beaded Heart Trio

Give your special Valentine this trio of accessories with beaded pink hearts. This set comes with a journal, treasure box, and a cute frame. Materials:

Palette Knife
Americana Acrylics in Pink Chiffon and Soft Lilac
3 DecoArt Easy Cling Brushes
Liquid Beadz in Pretty Pink
Water basin
Palette or paper plate
Large flat brush
Small flat brush
Paper towels for spills
Chalk pencil
Craft or hot glue
Pink satin ribbon
Papier mache frame with heart-shaped opening
Small wire bound mini scrapbook (white)
7" round papier mache box
Various Lara's Crafts heart shapes (1" x 2", 11/4" x ", 11/2" x 3/4", 1" x 1/2")

Instructions:

Round Box

Basecoat bottom of box Titanium White.
Basecoat lid Soft Lilac. Let both to dry.
Use pouncer to create Soft Lilac dots around base and Titanium White dots over lid.
With Pink Chiffon and tip of pouncer handle, make series of tiny dots around perimeter of and allow them to dry.
Paint three different Lara's Crafts hearts with Pink Chiffon.
Using pattern, apply multiple sizes of hearts with Pretty Pink Liquid Beadz.
Glue wooden hearts onto box in remaining areas and cover them with Liquid Beadz.
Cut length of ribbon and tie around box into a bow.

Frame

Remove photo liner from frame.
Basecoat frame Soft Lilac.
After it has dried, use pouncer to create pattern of dots in Titanium White.
With Pink Chiffon and tip of pouncer handle, make vertical row of tiny dots along left side of frame.
Paint three different Lara's Crafts hearts with Pink Chiffon.
After they have dried, cover them with Pretty Pink Liquid Beadz.
Glue hearts to lower right side of frame.
Using palette knife, create Liquid Beadz border around heart shape in middle of frame.
Allow all to dry; then make bow from pink satin ribbon and glue it to lower left side.

Journal

Basecoat journal with Titanium White.
After it has dried, use pouncer to create pattern of Soft Lilac dots.
Using Soft Lilac, paint rectangle in middle of journal front cover, leaving a border measuring about 11/2".
Use pouncer to create pattern of Titanium White dots over Soft Lilac area.
Inside Soft Lilac area, use pattern to apply large heart in Pretty Pink Liquid Beadz.
Use Pink Chiffon and tip of pouncer handle to make border of tiny dots around rectangle.
Paint three different Lara's Crafts hearts with Pink Chiffon.
After they have dried, cover hearts with Liquid Beadz.
Glue hearts to journal.
Make pink satin bow and glue it to top center of rectangle.
