Graffiti Valentine's Day Frame
Urban graffiti and grunge are hot trends right now in the world of crafting. Use these trends to create a fun picture frame for Valentine's Day, designed by Terri O. Use as decoration or give as a gift for Valentine's Day or any occasion. Watch the video too!
Materials:
- ColorArtz Fabric Airbrush System
- Wood frame
- Photo
- Craft foil
- Sharp scissors
Instructions:
- Select the colors of paints you want to use. I used green, orange and pink and then black for the letters.
- In a random pattern spray one color in spots all over the frame. Pay attention to the sides and the inside frame. With your second color fill in the blanks and with your third color hit any spots you missed. There really is no rhyme or reason to how you paint.
- Practice writing with the airbrush on paper before you paint. I found some interesting fonts on the internet. I did a search for graffiti fonts and had tons of choices.
- Write your names or message on your frame and let dry.
- With a sharp tool or pencil without lead, draw your design on the craft foil. Cut it out carefully. The edges of the foil are really sharp!
- Spray your foil with paint and immediately wipe it off.
- Attach your foil to the frame and add your favorite photo.
