Crystal Embellished Believe Vase
Jazz up your home decor with this Crystal Embellished Believe Vase. It's one the easiest crafts around. You can take your plain glass vase and turn it into a dazzling accent piece for any room in your house. Pick a word that has a special meaning to you and draw it on the side. Once you've added a few crystals you'll have a stunning piece of DIY home decor to put anywhere. With a bit of sparkle, this vase will add a touch of glam to any room you put it in.
Materials:
- Elmer’s CraftBond® precision embellishment glue
- Elmer’s painters pens in color of your choice (white used on this project)
- Glass vase, cylinder shape
- Various sized crystals
- Tweezers
Instructions:
-
With the Elmer’s Painters Pen, write a word in cursive on the vase, vertically. Laying the vase on its side on a tabletop can make this process easier. You can freestyle the word or use a flexible stencil. Allow to dry.
-
Add thicker details to the letters using the Elmer’s Paint Pen. Allow to dry.
-
Add dots of Elmer’s CraftBond® Embellishment Glue to the vase where crystals should be applied.
-
Use the tweezers to add crystals to the dots of Elmer’s CraftBond® Embellishment Glue. Allow to dry for at least 30 minutes.
-
If you get glue on the glass by accident, wipe away with a damp paper towel. If the glue has dried, use a razor blade to remove it. Draw the wording with a permanent marker onto the glass before using the Painters Pen if you are concerned about getting the cursive writing correct. Use a darker Painters Pen to cover the permanent marker markings. Use glass cleaner and a soft towel to clean the vase before use.

This needs to be on the entertainment center in the living room. There is so much you can do with it, not just holding flowers. Colored stones, coins, candy, wishes, so many ideas...
