Knock-Off DIY Wall Art
"Flipping through a magazine I actually stopped to look at an ad! What caught my eye was this stunning foil-pressed heart photo snapshot by online stationary retailer, Minted. What was not so attractive was the price, starting at $57-$116. Way out of my budget so I made my own, putting my own touches to it. This project cost me $0 since I had all the materials on hand. Quite a cost savings to recreate a designer print!"

How to Make Knock-Off Wall Art
Instructions
-
Print out downloadable heart-shaped template and cut out.
-
Depending on the size of your frame and heart template you need, re-size approx. 25 1.5"x1.25" photos. (You may need more or less photos, again, depending on the size of frame you are working with.)
-
Print out photos onto photo paper and cut out.
-
Cut rectangles out of scrapbook paper (approx. 2"x1.5"), depending on the number of photos you have.
-
Tape each photo onto each piece of scrapbook paper, making it look like a small Polaroid.
-
Arrange these "Polaroids" onto your heart template, arranging and laying out in the manner you like best.

Oh I have so many ideas for this little beauty. I think I am going to start one of these for my granddaughter for when she starts school. I will start with her school pictures. Then I will add any pictures from any events she participates in at school, and from there I will end it off with a picture of her graduating class.
