    Yarn Wreath with Berries

    Wrap a foam wreath in these holiday yarns and add yarn ball berries for a quick and easy Christmas craft. Yarn tassels form the leaves of this clever holiday wreath craft from Lion Brand Yarn

    Christmas Yarn Wreath with Berries

    Materials:

    • Holiday Homespun Yarn: Wreath 1 ball (A)
    • Holiday Homespun Yarn: Berry 1 ball (B)
    • Large-Eye Blunt Needles
    • 12 in. (30.5 cm) foam wreath
    • 18 small foam balls
    • 6 in. (15 cm) piece of cardboard
    • Craft glue


    Instructions:

    Tassel Wrap yarn around 6 in. (15 cm) cardboard 3 times. Cut a piece of yarn 12 in. (30.5 cm) long and thread doubled into large-eyed blunt needle. Insert needle under all strands at upper edge of cardboard. Pull tightly and knot securely near strands. Cut yarn loops at lower edge of cardboard. Cut a piece of yarn 12 in. (30.5 cm) long and wrap tightly around loops about 1 in. (2.5 cm) below top knot to form Tassel neck. Knot securely.

    WREATH
    With A, make 12 Tassels. Apply a small amount of glue to foam wreath, then wrap evenly with A. Continue applying small amounts of glue, then wrapping with A until Wreath is completely covered. Arrange Tassels onto Wreath. Tie yarn tails of Tassel around Wreath to secure.

    BALLS (make 18)
    Apply a small amount of glue to Ball, then wrap evenly with B. Continue applying small amounts of glue, then wrapping with B until Ball is completely covered.

    FINISHING
    Glue Balls to surface of Wreath as desired.
