Ornament Wreath Instructions

-
Continue to fill in the wreath, using smaller ornaments to fill the gaps.
-
When you are done, all that you need to do is find a place to hang your wreath.

One for each season. I'd love a red, white and blue on with lights for a friend's patio.

They are already putting the decorations out and I saw some great light strands which I have bought before and use all, year long, so they are pretty decent for a buck! I want to make this wreath and entwine the light strand in among the ornaments.... A battery operated strand probably would work best, but it you have access to an outlet, this wreath would look just great with the little fairy lights inside!

I have four front facing windows and I have all good intentions to make one of these for each window. I love this idea. With all of the colors that the store has to select from, my only decision now is what color to have this coming Christmas.

Anyone that wants to decorate with a Christmas wreath that is so fast and easy and inexpensive needs to watch this video to create a cute one. All dollar store finds and you can use your imagination on how to assemble them on the wreath. I would add some ribbon or cord on top to hand it and a super cute bow. Nice project. Why not make an extra for someone special while you create your own.

I am definitely going to make this wreath. I haven't decided what colors I want to use, so I am going to the dollar store first to see what they have. Then I will gather up my craft store coupons and buy the wreath form and any other ornament colors I am missing. Right now I am thinking silver and hot pink and turquoise if those colors are available.

Just the other day while I was shopping at the local Dollar Tree Store, I saw that they had already started putting out the holiday decorations, including Christmas. Now would be the time to purchase those tree ornaments and make these little wreaths.

Great way to make a very inexpensive wreath your own by using ornaments that sparkle, with words, plain, all one color or decoupage them, buy glue and add whatever you want. This is a nice way to get the kids to help make that special Christmas wreath for the door or window. A great family project. I wish she would have came back and showed hoe she finished the project. I would add a great big beautiful bow. Thanks.

I always have left over ornaments and feel bad that they won't get to be seen that year. What better way to show them off. I have some red ones with glittery sayings on them like Noel, Peace, Joy etc. they would look great scattered among the plain ones. And if I need Moreno T said United simple to use a marker to write on them, then cover the words with glue and hit with glitter! I love this idea. Thank you for this idea.

I used my glue gun to fix the tops to the baubles. Good idea, I made some for the family and they were delighted. Thanks

I imagine, instead of trying to cut off the intertwined hook, it would be better to just disguise it with your ribbon; meaning you can also hang it by the hook.

This was SO easy to make. I went to the store after the holiday season last year and got quite a bit of ornaments at 90% off. The wreath really came out nice. Thanks for posting this!

I also remember using white plastic bag's tied around the hanger, and trimed close to the wire, or use any color of plastic you want, also a bow look's nice on top, and a few very small Christmas ornaments can be hung on the wire also..

When I was a child we did a class project as a team I will never forget! Much like this instead of ball we used bags of hard candy!!! We all took turns it took the whole month of November so it would be ready for December but it looked great on our classroom door and we were so proud! At the end we had a raffle and one of the children got to take it home.lol

Those ornaments look like they might be styrofoam. But, glass ones would work, just get some serious glue to glue the hanging portion to the ornament before you start. I find fabritac works well for similar projects.

Great idea! These are most likely glass/plastic ornaments, but gluing the hanging portion on is a fantastic tip! Thanks for sharing!

I tried to make this wreath but just as I was afraid might happen, the balls started falling off. Before I knew it I was sitting around with broken glass ornaments all around my feet. Any solutions to this problem?

Try putting a small piece of duct tape at the beginning of the wreath to prevent the ornaments from sliding off.

I do find this an easy-looking project, but I wonder, like another comment, what type of ornaments were used. I also dislike the description a "butt-load" of ornaments". I find this world is way to quick to use disgusting prases and profanity. I have always heard the term "boat load"....

The ornaments used in this project were purchased at Target...but you can find ornaments like this around the holiday time at Hobby Lobby, Michaels, Walmart, and several other craft stores. Look for ornaments with a larger loop at the top so the hanger can easily to through.

What an easy and inexpensive project. The hardest part was bending the hanger. I used all gold and silver ornaments and it looks very classy. Love it and will make many more.

Love this but what type of ornaments did you use? All my ornaments have a silver or gold top with a loop to put a hanger on to hang on tree. The ones you have look and sound like they have 2 holes on the top to slip the wire through.

These ornaments also have a gold/silver top...I believe the hanger is placed through the whole where the string or hook would be. Hope that helps!
