Stamping Candles

Candles add fun to just about anything from a simple dinner with family to a grand wedding.  You don’t have to settle for unadorned candles! You can use this fun craft idea to create unique candles to match the celebration or event with a few simple supplies. It’s fast and easy!  Maria Nerius guides you through this candle tutorial.
 

Materials:

• Tissue paper
• Heat gun/Embossing tool
• Rubber stamps
• Pillar candle
• Ink
• Optional: embossing powder and coloring tools
   

Steps:

1. Match color of tissue paper to candle for transparent look. You might want to do your first project using a white pillar candle and white tissue paper.
    
2. Stamp tissue paper. If you like emboss and color the images. Cut out images.
    
3. Place image onto candle. Gently apply heat from heat gun until you see the wax of the candle glisten and become one with the tissue paper image. Repeat until all images are placed.
