4th of July Star Wreath

Wreaths are a great idea for homemade 4th of July decorations. This wreath from Sizzix features striped ribbon and paper stars in red, white and blue.

Plain Paper
Patterned Paper
Chipboard
Glitter
Ribbon

Instructions:

Die-cut Stars several times from plain and patterned paper backed with chipboard. Adhere Stars together to form a wreath. Embellish with ribbon and glitter.

This looks great! It would be the perfect door decoration for any patriotic holiday. The 4th of July is coming up quickly, which would be the perfect time to display this star wreath. If you are looking for inspiration for other holidays, you could always change the color of the stars, and it would be the perfect decoration for any holiday you are looking to decorate for.

I have buttons in different star shape sizes and in red, white and blue. This has inspired me to use them on a wood wreath. I never thought of using them like that. I won't have to buy much at all to do it. Thank you for giving me the idea.

This idea gives great inspiration! If you are not able to find these supplies, your local,craft, fabric or dollar type store usually has thin wooden stars and you can easily paint the, or cover them with patriotic colored papers! Give the, a coat of outdoor decopage formula for a bit of protection if you place this on your outside door or patio!
