When do you apply the stabilizer to the back of the t shirts? Is that done as you are cutting out each piece or when you are assembling the blocks?

Tshirt quilts a just great for kids especially teenagers. You can use up that stash of tshirts you saved from when they were tiny and create a one of a kind piece of memorabilia. For boys you can use their team tshirts as the author suggest or collect tshirts from their favorite sports teams. Girls would love a quilt with shirts from their favorite movies or toys. The designer has lots of good tips in her video tutorials.

This is great! Thank you so much for making this video. I have the supplies but don't know anyone that sews. It really helps to see you do it. My oldest son has a lot of shirts that he really likes and doesn't want to throw out even though they don't fit. Some of them are sports shirts but some are just neat shirts he liked. I think those would also make a nice quilt. I enjoyed your video and your funny comments! I'm going to check out your blog too.
