Painted Beach Votives

Creative beach crafts don't have to be made in the summer. Turn your home into a sandy bungalow with some easy to find craft supplies. Pretty and colorful Painted Beach Votives look great on a tabletop or mantel and can be displayed all year long.


 

Materials:

• 2 glass jars
• Glass enamel paints*
• 3D Frost Gloss Enamel Writers*
• Hemp cord
• Hot glue gun
• Starfish and sand dollar stencils
• Masking tape

Instructions:

1. Wash and dry jars. Give each jar a coat of glass enamel paint.
   
   
    
2. Lightly tape the stencil inside the jar. Use the 3D Writer paint to draw the design, using the stencil behind the glass as a guide. Allow to dry overnight.
   
   
   
   
   
   
    
3. Hot glue hemp cord around the rim of the jar.

Note:

• I used Americana Crystal gloss enamels for the jars and Americana 3D Frost Gloss Enamels for the designs. Colors used were Turquoise and White.
