Buzzing Bees Zipper Pull

Zipper pulls aren’t just for clothing anymore.  Hipsters everywhere enjoy clipping on these little gems on purses, pant belt loops, shoes, and more!  Follow this tutorial from Maria Nerius to create your own.

Materials:

• Lanyard hook
• Crimp bead
• Beading wire
• Crimper
• Assorted beads- Silver beads from Halcraft, all other beads from Rings & Things
• Scissors
• Ruler

Instructions:

1. You’ll need seed beads, 3 leaf beads, 2 metal bee beads, white rose bead, and 2 crimp beads. Measure 8” of bead wire and cut.
    
2. Thread beading wire onto lanyard hook center. Thread on a crimp bead. You are threading the crimp bead onto both wires. Pull tight to lanyard hook and crimp.
    
3. On one wire string 10 seed beads, bee bead, 12 seed beads, and leaf bead. Now place crimp bead and a seed bead. Bring bead wire back through crimp bead (and several seed beads) and crimp. Trim excess bead wire.
    
4. On second bead wire string 5 seed beads, leaf bead, rose bead, 5 seed beads, bee bead, 4 seed beads, leaf bead. Now string on a crimp bead and seed bead. Bring wire back through the crimp bead (and leaf bead). Crimp and trim excess wire.
