Buttons Abound Hemp Bracelet

This adorable Buttons Abound Hemp Bracelet is great for girls of all ages.  Embellished with an assortment of cute buttons, this DIY bracelet is a fun and easy project for crafters of all skill levels.  With a simple pattern of threading buttons and tying knots, this simple hemp bracelet would be great for sleepovers, girl scout troops, and girls nights.  Mix and match button colors or use one color for a classy, yet fun, accessory.

Materials:

• Hemp twine
• 10 buttons (3 small, 3 medium, 4 large)
• Pair of scissors

Instructions:

1. To determine the amount of Hemp needed for your bracelet measure your wrist and double the length.  This is how long you need to cut 5 strands of hemp.
    
2. Hold the strands evenly at one end create a loop and secure it in place with a knot as shown. Note: This loop needs to be large enough so one of the larger buttons will go through.
    
3. Thread one button onto three different strands of hemp, leaving two strands plain. Once all three (1 small, 1 medium, 1 large) buttons are strung onto the hemp secure them in place with a knot as shown.
    
4. Continue threading the remaining buttons 2 sets of small, medium, large buttons following the same steps as just stated.
    
5. Thread the last large button onto one strand of hemp and secure it in place by tightly knotting the strands together as close to the large button as possible. Using scissors, trim the remaining hemp strands to desired length.
