Truthfully, any old material will do. Jersey tee shirts, old skirts anything but heavy fabrics. Oooh, this may be GREAT for use with my Gramma's vintage hankies that I inherited from her. They are floral prints, gingham checks, and some are plain white or ivory with lace trim. I would love to be able to upcycle them and wear them with pride.

This might be my favorite idea yet for upcycling old t-shirts. Bold accessories like this are great for summer!
